Abigail's "Don't Bug Me" quilt

hehehe- I just thought up that name when typing the blog title :)

Here is Abigail's newest quilt.

I got a lot of help choosing colours with this one because I loved too many!!

Thank you for your help on G+ and FB :)

it is a disappearing four patch block. It was my first time trying it and it was pretty good - once i figured out how to do it!

if you can watch this a few times.....
1. sew 4 blocks together (I used charm packs)
2. Cut one inch on each side of each seam (i used a rotating cutting mat)
3. rotate center block one turn clockwise
4. move large outer blocks one spot clockwise as well.
5. sew block together

It ended up measuring 46.5x 36.5

For the back I had bought a yard of the one print a year or more after the charm packs and when I got home I realized that they matched! how awesome! I extended it with some yellow.
I really like the soft green with the bright orange! it frames it very well!

see my wonky quilting? I like it anyway!
